Course Description:

Join Joey Wright for his in-depth course on posing/directing models along with his approach to working with subjects in natural light.

In this 60 minute course, you’ll learn how to direct models using Joey’s simple commands that won’t confuse or interfere with the flow of the shoot. These techniques will help you avoid stiff and contrived looking images while allowing you to achieve a more natural and relaxed look. Joey will also cover his simple approach to finding and using the best natural light in any given setting while making sure to flatter the subject while also considering the background. This course should boost your shooting confidence by giving you a little more control over the uncontrollable nature of working with subjects in natural light settings.

Ray Kay will walk you through film making basics, and topics will include how to avoid jump cuts, how to create a dynamic edit, how to direct models for motion, how to combine movements on your phone (or stills camera) with the movements of your model, what kind of movements work best, how to quickly edit the footage on your phone within 15 mins, how to best do the color grade on your phone, and the secret tricks that will make the video work 10 times better on Instagram
