FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is my flight included? Flights are not included but there are many direct flight options available. We recommend SkyScanner or Google Flights for finding the best deal.
How will I get from the airport to the resort? It’s a short Uber ride from the airport to the house.
What should I bring? Please check out our Travel 411 page for details.
Will I need extra cash? It never hurts to travel with some extra cash but you will not need to pay for food, drinks or amenities at the house. Off-resort excursions will be offered at additional fees. Please check our schedule page for details.
Will I be able to choose who I shoot with? You can shoot with anyone who agrees to shoot with you. You are never forced to shoot with anyone who you would prefer not to shoot with.
Will I be allowed to leave the house without the group? Yes, you may leave the house at your own risk of liability.
What if nobody shows interest in shooting with me? Don't worry, the Paradise Challenge Staff will always be there to help you make introductions. We also have our staff photographers and models available to make sure that nobody is left out.
Do I have to participate in all of the events? You are never forced to participate but we highly encourage participation to experience the full potential of the trip.
Is there a refund or cancellation policy? We do not offer refunds but we do offer credit for future trips if you have to cancel.

Will I get to shoot with every photographer on the roster? It is possible we cannot make guarantees here. We understand that some attendees are happy with only shooting a few times throughout the week while some are trying to shoot as much as possible. Our initial orientation is a great opportunity to make introductions and plan shoots with anyone who agrees to shoot with you. You are never forced to shoot with anyone who you would prefer not to shoot with.
How many images should I expect to receive from each photographer I shoot with? We ask each photographer to provide a minimum of 2 retouched images per look. Photographers may offer additional retouched images at a cost of $25 per image.
How long after the trip will it take to receive my final images? We ask all photographers to distribute retouched images within 30 days after the event has ended.
Is hair & makeup included? Hair and make up is not included but will be available on location. Please contact our HMUA coordinator: Daisy (docasiomua@gmail.com or 813-516-4025). Times will be scheduled upon request on a "first-come first-serve" basis, limited spots available. Standard application fees apply: $50 for hair, $50 for makeup.
Will swimwear or wardrobe be provided? We sometimes receive swimwear from our sponsors but it is recommended that you come prepared with your own wardrobe.
Will I be sharing a room with another guest? Yes but models will only share rooms with other models.

What image usage rights will I have? Without a release form, you can use your images for portfolio and self-promotional use. You may provide your own release forms if you'd like to use your images for a specific commercial purposes with the model's signature consent. Paradise Challenge can provide you with a generic release form if you do not have one.
Can I shoot nudes? Yes, tasteful nudes are allowed with mutual consent between the model and the photographer.
Will I be sharing a room with another guest? Yes but photographers will only share rooms with other photographers.
